After a long time search it seems to me that there are only two suppliers for XR1000 pistons.
a) The "mass production" XR Pistons are from Rivera (Arias) and have a 10.0:1 compression.

b) JE Pistons will make XR custom pistons at any compression ratio. But the minimum number to order is 4 Pistons and the price for them is approximatly $650,-. That's what they told me.
It's a pitty that the Arias pistons don't have the recommended 10.5:1 compression and that the JE Pistons are so expensive. I'm afraid we will have to use the Arias and miss another 5-8hp later on the dyno.
