I just bought my XR1000 and got the info about this site from a friend.
Very nice to have some experienced people to ask when needed (which seems to be the case now and then with these bikes...).
Well, my first problem with the bike is that it has a severe leaning angle when on the sidestand. Something is obviously wrong here, and as the bracket on the frame seems unaltered I guess it's the stand itself.
So, can anyone tell me the length of the stand, say from the pivot pin to the bend at the "bottom" end, and also the part# on the stand, it would be appreciated!
Any other ideas what can be wrong?
