Hi, I just found this forum today so I joined right up, looks like it could be allot of help. I live in New Zealand and there are very few XR's and probably no XRTT's here, in fact I've never seen one of either but i am trying to build a race bike based on an XR frame. I currently race a modified XLCH in Pre'63 Classic Roadracing but the XL frame is very heavy, so when I saw an XR frame in the local paper I bought it straight away. I intend to continue with the XL engine but fitted into the XR chassis which is a highboy type with the horizontal back bone and the raised brace. I am trying to find fibreglass fairings that would work with the higher steering head of my frame, I guess the KRTT style is my best bet, anyone out there ever fitted a fairing to an XR frame ? I have seen product for sale at Airtech but after 3 emails have not had a reply from them, has anyone had any dealings with them or can you recommend somebody that wants my money.
