XR1000 Online Community

I picked up a Paioli front fork assy at Mid Ohio this year. I am going to use it on my XR. I need to lengthen the stem 0.75 inches. I got bearing for it which are the same as the HD bearings except larger ID. They use the same race as the stock bearings.

This is a new name to me but I heard they were used on some Ducati's. We have a Ducati dealer here in Walled Lake but they were of no help.

I sent an email to Paioli today.

Has anyone any experance with Paioli. I am trying to find a dealer in the US who could tell me more about these forks. I would also like to know how the stem is secured in the bottom tree. It looks to be pressed in but I want to be sure. Also how much fork oil should be used. I looked at the PAioli web site & the forks I have don't look like any of the pictures there.
