After 2 years experience with my stock Dellortos I am gonna trying other settings. Now my main jet is size 152 and the idle jet size 56.
My low end performance seems to be nearly perfect, only sometimes a slight Ping when accelerating from low revs, and only when hot.
But regarding my high compression pistons and E-cams I am missing some power at higher revolutions. The spark plugs are now very bright and clean, nearly white after strong running.
The main jet seems to be already pretty large, as the racing Bulletin recommands 140-155 with open Megaphones.
At first I will try a larger main jet, if this doesnt help another needle and needle jet. Possibly the carbs are simply too small for more high end performance?
