Parts List 13 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 1
Does anyone have the parts list for the XL-models (OEM 99451-83)? It seems, that all the XR-parts, which are not in the XR1000 parts list from the 82 XL-model. Can anybody confirm this? So that means, that the ignition moduls are interchangeable, aren

Hi Henker.
Sorry to hear about your problems, but before you start building up new problems i can tell you that the Ignition module for the XR1000 are not identical with the XL - it has it own spare number 32399-84 in my part book.
But using an Screaming Eagle unit or any aftermarket unit without an rpm limiter should do the same, you are running without woes connected.
You can get units both from SE and others that makes go of the black box and fits entirely under the ignition cover.

Safe riding

It seems, that you have another parts list than listed in the XR Manuals on this website. Could you please send a copy of your XR1000-parts list to my fax (+49 821 60 99 602) or to Tom?

Henker,
just go to http://www.jwboon.nl/ and search for part number 32399-84.
It seems there's nothing special with the XR1000 module.
On the other hand, if you search for the term "Ignition module" you'll see that HD made quite a lot of ignition modules during the last two decades. My only conclusion is that the electronic department at HD is much more active than the structural department ...

Last weekend I could test my new electronic ignition: What a different!! I actually wanted only to change from breaker to breakerless ignition only, because there was a bucking, when I holded at constant speed. But what Ive got was more than only a very very smooth running at every speed: If I turned the throttle e.g. in the 3rd gear, it nearly was like exploding a firework right under my seat. I was pitchforked forward so that my cheeks were pulled to my ears.
In the attachement the adjustment of the Dyna
